KONSERVASI LAUT INDONESIA LESSER SUNDA INDONESIA

Konservasi Laut is a community-based marine conservation effort initiated by government, NGOs, diver associations and local communities aims to encourage divers, coastal villagers and islander, students, community leaders within East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara (knowns as Lesser Sunda Seascape) to do simple marine conservation effort and reduce ocean trash with plastic.

We are committed to STOP littering the ocean. Several actions already done including
- regularly underwater clean up,
- mangrove and coral reef plantation,
- marine species restocking such as giant clams, reefs, and
- dissemination to students (schools), fishermen, coastal about reducing littering plastic to the ocean,
- dissemination on marine species conservation including marine species CITES listed,
- conduct trainings on marine mammals stranding, and
- assisting community-based sea-turtle conservation groups to gather data, maintain the sea-turtle nesting sites and disseminate the important of sea-turtles.
- monitoring and developing regional field guideline on coral bleaching monitoring and its network
