Strengthening data partnerships for Oceans in Asia and the Pacific
by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) (United Nations entity)
ESCAP member countries at its 73rd session in May 2017 adopted the resolution entitled Strengthening Asia-Pacifics support for the United Nations Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14. This resolution requests ESCAP secretariat to continue to support current regional partnerships and develop new regional partnerships, where appropriate, for enhancing data and statistical capacities for Goal 14 in line with ESCAPs statistical framework.
