Community Integrated Management Plans
by Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Government)
Community Integrated Management Plan (formerly known as the Coastal Infrastructure Management Plan) aims to assist communities to better manage their natural environment and infrastructure so that they can be more resilient and adaptive to climate change and its adverse impacts through a ridge to reef approach. Not all the solutions may be actioned immediately but the plan will ensure that issues and options are identified for the long-term improvement in resilience of the environment, infrastructure and communities. This includes the marine inshore area and their sustainable use.

The plan will be implemented and reviewed every 5 years.
