Elimination of Resort's Single Use Plastic Products
by Evason Ana Mandara [Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas] (Private sector)
Evason Ana Mandara, it's head of departments and our established Sustainability team will work to eliminate all single use plastic products from our beachfront resort. This will include purchasing and sales of plastic bottled waters, sourcing of non-plastic containers for kitchen products, replacement of plastic straws with paper ones [already in place since February 2017] as well as any other possible items.

Method: Maintain an updated list of single use plastic products to be eliminated and removed from all purchasing processes.
Identify suppliers who can provide non plastic products wherever possible and without disruption of deliveries.

Follow-up: Update our Monthly Sustainability KPI's to our VP Sustainability and Group Director of Sustainability at hone office in Bangkok.
Be fully compliant in all related single use plastic directives as part of Six Senses group wide Sustainability initiatives.

Locally: Use our social media channels to share our actions taken and inspire others to do the same.

Educate: Work with one local orphanage to include their school children in a save the oceans campaign and share common practices with them.
