Our commitment is to raise awareness for ocean conservation through the power of music.
We are a collaboration of creative ocean lovers & Project Everyone, the campaigns unit for the Global Goals, with the support of WATO and UNOPS.
Our project is called oneocean.fm - a web based music stream dedicated to fine music and Ocean Conservation.
We intend to spread the messages of SDG14 : Life Below Water through fresh and innovative audio content from various high profile passionate ocean conservation people and networks.
Between the 5th and 9th of June 2017, we will launch at The Ocean Conference, telling people around the world why we must protect our Ocean and the commitments and actions being taken across the globe to do so.
We are doing all sorts of interesting content collaborations bringing together great electronic music from all kinds of DJ's together with ocean conservation activists/messages. These will include Dr Sylvia Earle, Sir Richard Branson, Fabien Cousteau and Melati and Isabel Wijsen from Bali and more. We also intend to be a platform for all ocean campaigners to promote their projects and actions for change, thereby building a community of ocean supporters whom we can mobilize at the relevant points to help see the goal achieved.
We are building a network of like minded platforms / organisation / businesses / radio stations from around the world who will be helping us reach as wide an audience as possible to make Goal 14 famous and see more people taking individual action to help secure a healthy future for our oceans. These range from Mixcloud to WeTransfer to Life Without Plastics to Deutsche Welle Radio as well as Radio Mango on the Arabian Sea.
We are very much open for more partners to join us to help grow the station and the movement.
