Full deployment of European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) by 2020

The EU commits to fully deploy its European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) by 2020. This network consists of more than 160 organisations assembling marine data, products and metadata which will make these fragmented resources more available to public and private users relying on quality-assured, standardised and harmonised marine data which are interoperable and free of restrictions on use.

By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution
