TUMARColombia, apoyando la construccin de un pas martimo, trabaja en la transformacin del rol hombre-mar en Colombia con el fin de resignificar las potencialidades de su entorno y la proyeccin que el mar les ofrece en materia de desarrollo.
Esta iniciativa con perfil de participacin ciudadana, tendr varias fases, siendo esta su primera fase, TUMARColombia se dedicar a la investigacin y gestin de conocimiento que involucre nuestras reas temticas de inters a saber:

- Cultura martima en Colombia: Una proyeccin de beneficio intergeneracional
- Cooperacin Internacional y Cultura Martima
- Cultura Martima vista desde lo interdisciplinar
- Gestin cultural de los asuntos del mar en el mundo y Colombia.
