Green reef Group is a non governmental organization works with local people and stakeholders to use the advantages of coral reefs in a sustainable and proper way by training them and help them to perform a sustainable coral reef projects.

To protect the zeytoon coral reef site in Qeshm island against some threats like as anchoring and destructive fishing, and also improve corals health in this reef, with help of diving clubs staffs as main stakeholders and Department of Environment of Qeshm Free Area Organization (QFA), zoning will perform and the boats will restrict to inter the protected zone except particular diving boats.

Then to avoid anchoring on corals, mooring buoy will construct and put in appropriate place to moor the diving boats. staffs of diving clubs will train to use the mooring buoy and respect to the coral life.

Department of Environment of Qeshm Free Area Organization (QFA), GEF/SGP office in Iran and diving clubs in Qeshm island will cooperate in all parts of the project.
