The Government of Curacao, in collaboration with the WAITT Institute, commits to developing and codifying a sustainable ocean policy over a five-year period. Thereafter, the Government of Curacao commits to implementing the Sustainable Ocean Policy, as developed in cooperation with the WAITT Institute.
Based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Government of Curacao and the WAITT Institute in 2015, with the desire to collaborate to achieve an effective coastal management system for Curacaos waters, the parties will collaborate within the framework of the Blue Halo Curacao project to develop a comprehensive ocean and coastal management policy.
