The African Marine Waste Network is committed to assisting the 38 coastal and island states of Africa to reverse the growth of litter and its transport to the seas. It is achieving these goals through capacity building, education and awareness, research and data sharing, holding of events and other forms of Networking, including development of a strong web-based network drawing people of all countries together in a collaborative endeavour. The network acts as a hub for sharing of information, strategies and news.
