Tripoli Lebanon - Beach Clean Ups

Environmental Medics is a youth initiative that started in Tripoli Lebanon on 15 April 2017, since then, the following goals were achieved:

1- more then 90 clean ups on the Tripoli shores.
2- sorting (especially plastic products collected from the beaches) and sending them to sorting and recycling plans in cooperation with local NGOs and local authorities.
3- attracting more then 100 volunteers (of which 40 are committed volunteers) and implementing weekly clean ups that is raising the awareness about the beaches and oceans.
4- participating in the clean up earth day on 15 September 2015 and organizing one of the biggest clean ups in Lebanon with more then 100 volunteer and more then 300 trash bag out of which more then 60 bags of plastic.
