Beam of the Environment Association - BEA (registration 118/AD) is a non-governmental organization located in Sarafand - South Lebanon founded in 13/08/2003, that aims to maintain and enhance a clean and healthy coastal environment for the benefit of present and future generations while ensuring a responsible usage of the natural resources, according to the needs of the local community.
Our objectives of the project are: Having a clean Sea free from Wastes residue of the random landfill and Building up a conscious society that is aware of their own rights and duties towards maintaining biodiversity.
Our activities are: The Extraction of wastes from the deep of Zehrani sea and Raising awareness about the fatal risks of wastes on biodiversity.
This project will be targeting through its relation with the local NGOs and CSOs as large community segment as possible, with the support of many private and public sectors in addition to collaboration with the municipalities to ensure the participation of all parties and sectors in this project.
