BlueRibbon Ocean Conservation Association (BROCA), founded in Sanya, Hainan Province on June 1, 2007, is a non-profit NGO dedicated to ocean education and awareness raising, marine debris clean-up, coastal ecosystem conservation and the promotion of developing a non-governmental ocean conservation network in China.
The Blue Ribbon Ocean Conservation Association (BROCA) has been working on the forefront in ocean preservation and conservation,striving to protect the oceans in various ways,from initiating on-foot surveys of the coastline to restoring marine ecological environment,from mobilizing youth volunteers in universities to engaging army officers and soldiers,from advancing fishing community co-management to expediting international exchanges.We protect the beaches,coral reefs,mangroves,sea-grass beds,rivers,marine lifeand indigenous cultures.Our foot-prints are left on various fields of ocean preservation and conservation.
