BLUMES: BLUE Jobs and Responsible Growth in the Mediterranean throughout Enhancing Skills and Developing Capacities

The project core activities aim to promote the creation of skills, knowledge and research in the field of Blue Economy, leading to blue careers and scientific research. By supporting the Euro-Mediterranean community of stakeholders of the Blue Economy through Higher Education and Research, it will enhance the shared knowledge of the Mediterranean basin in marine and maritime sectors.

Progress reports
Increase scientific knowledge, develop research capacity and transfer marine technology, taking into account the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Criteria and Guidelines on the Transfer of Marine Technology, in order to improve ocean health and to enhance the contribution of marine biodiversity to the development of developing countries, in particular small island developing States and least developed countries
