Support to Ocean Preservation through Advocacy
by Nigerian Women Agro Allied Farmers Association.(NIWAAFA) (Non-governmental organization (NGO))
To popularise the Ocean Commitments and programs by launching Massive advocacy in places where information on Ocean is low or lacking. There should be Community consultations, leading to talks and feed backs as a back up to reach the un-reached communities through advocacy and sensitisation. Implementation methodology is by developing a communication strategy suitable to a particular persons, tribe or Country to make communication easier and acceptable to them.Follow up mechanism is to develop a community network which should be owned by the community people, used by the Community people and adopted by the Community people. Governance is also to be decided, lead and managed at the Community level and ownership will domicile at the community leadership.
