Ocean Friendly Business Project (OFB)
We launched the OFB project, as part of our efforts to avoid pollution on the Pacific Ocean coast in the South of the Nicoya Peninsula.
What is OFB?
OFB is a certification for businesses demonstrating good practices that avoid water and ocean pollution.
In order to be certified, what should the business comply with?
• Manage appropriately their solid waste.
• Do not use single-use plastics.
• Dispose of their wastewater properly.
Progress reports
By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution
