Restoring and protecting the ocean
by Project Zero (Non-governmental organization (NGO))
Project Zero is a global movement supported by renowned scientists, business leaders, campaigners, culture makers and ocean experts, who are all working together to awaken the fight for the ocean. Project Zero works to raise global awareness and ignite behaviour change that benefits the ocean and raises new revenue to complete the most pressing protection projects around the world. Project Zero achieves this by creating events and experiences that appeal to the next generation through music, sports, film and art to raise awareness, inspire ocean and climate friendly behaviours and raise money. Funds raised are granted out to organizations around the world, funding marine protected areas, as well as blue carbon ecosystems like mangroves, kelp forests, tidal marshes and sea grass.
