OBJECTIVES : To create awareness and sensitization on the negative impact of water pollution and acidification on fishery in Nigeria and Abroad..

METHODOLOGY : 2 Webinars, 1 Seminar and 3 Workshop with field work will be conducted on water pollution and acidification in Nigeria. A total number of 6500 people are expected to actively participate in this programme. Community Leaders, Youths and women as well as able men of valour will be involved in cleaning of some rivers and dams in some parts of the country. Additionally, many fish farms will be visited and guidelines will be provided for them freely. Fishing is one of the best businesses in Nigeria but the high rate of ocean and water pollution and acidification is effecting the business very terribly. Our ultimate aim is to boost fishery and enhance ocean cleaning across the country.

Follow Up : On monthly basis, we will revisit various fish ponds, dams and rivers and monitoring their compliance with our guidelines on water cleaning, pollution and acidification.

All our Volunteers are fully set for the humanitarian actions to the Goal 14.
