Qeep Up by Maggie Q for SDG14
by Qeep Up LLC (Private sector)
QEEP UP is not just a clothing brand. It's a movement, a calling, and an action we are taking for this remarkable planet we call home. We were borne out of a desire to safeguard our oceans and the marine mammals we share this planet with by creating smarter.

Qeep Up has made the commitment that 100% of products sold by the brand will be made from recycled or materials. The Qeep Up collection is not only fully recycled - from product to packaging - the manufacturing process is completely transparent. Focusing on women's activewear and swimwear, all fabrics are made using certified, tested and traceable Repreve fibers and technology. Repreve, a certifiably sustainable and transparent process, meeting the Global Recycled Standard, takes both ocean plastics and consumer waste and safely recycles them into polymers, which are used to make yarns to knit into performance fabrics. Qeep Up is building a supply chain with a low carbon footprint based on region. Ocean plastics + waste are harvested on the eastern seaboard of the United States and turned into yarns in North Carolina. Fabrics are knitted and dyed (with a non-toxic, water soluble process) in Long Beach California. Garments are sewn in the valley of Los Angeles in factories where workers are paid a living wage and spaced in accordance with the health department's recommendations. A similar supply chain is being developed with our China vendors, to serve the Asia market.100% of our materials are free of virgin plastics.100% of our materials come from recycled and traceable fibers.100% of our packaging is biodegradable (using BDP®, a patented technology that accelerates the biodegradation of plastic in anaerobic landfill environment) as well as 100% recycled. Each legging sold saves on average 1/2 lb of landfill waste. Our Repreve Nylon fabrics eliminate crude oil, benzene, cyclohexane, HMD, Adipic Acid, & nylon salt processes. We are Repreve certified # RPV-2863
